SURFACE TEXTURE OF JADEITE JADE ARTICLE

It is discovered by systematic studies that there exist, more or less, some special tangible shapes on the surface of jadeite jade article with granular crystalloblast. They are the natural reflection in certain internal constitutions which were formed under diffenent remaking conditions. The cataclastic part on the surface of jadeite jade article may fall into three origins: primary/epigenetic cataclasis, mechanical abrasion and acid washing erosion. They have their own characters though sometimes they look similar due to their close genetic relationship. In particular, the cataclastic part after the acid erosion is latent space of glutinonus filler material. Under the same conditions of glutinous filler technology, the degree of filler depends mainly on the shape of cataclastic part, its size, amount and distribution.
