Exploration on the Internationalization Training Path of Gemmology Talents under the Background of "the Belt and Road"

"Implementing the global governance talent education and training plan" is an important task for the internationalization of China's higher education. Recently, colleges and universities have carried out global governance talent training. However, the training of international talents in jewelry specialty as the training of global governance talents with industry characteristics is still in the exploratory stage. At a time when China's cooperation with countries along "the Belt and Road" in the field of mineral resources is increasingly effective, it is timely to explore the gemmological talent training mechanism and path that meet the development needs of "the Belt and Road". This article analyzes the discipline connotation and industry positioning of jewelry specialty, and proposes to improve the international training of jewelry professionals from the aspects of curriculum construction, faculty development and management mechanism construction, so as to provide ideas for gemmological talent training to meet the requirements of "the Belt and Road".
